Daggett Dossier

{Daggett Dossier}
fyi: that means "About Us"

This is the place of wonderment where you will find all the things you never needed and possibly never wanted to know about us :)
{but you know it'll be fun}

This is where I will share some history on our little family.
I'll add things as our life grows
so check back on occasion.
[p.s.]
[newer stuff will be at the bottom]
[i know it's backwards from everything else]
 [but we like to keep people on their toes :)]

{Mr. & Mrs.}
September 27,2008

The day I married the love of my life

We dated for 9 months when he popped
{The Question}
We were engaged for 14 months
{plenty of time to plan the wedding!}
Now
We're happily moving along in our crazy life together.
Nothing about marriage is easy
But with Christ as our stronghold
We have nothing to fear

I am so thankful to be {Mrs.} to my
amazing, handsome, wonderful
{Mr.}

{Mr.}

Currently a Full Time Assistant High School Band Director
focusing on Jazz and Percussion.
Working as a full time student toward a
Masters in Music Education.
The hardest working man I know.
His faith pushes me to be stronger in my own
and stretches me to grow deeper.

He is everything and more
and I'm one lucky girl.

{Me}
the Mrs.

I'm a wife and mommy.
I strive to love the Lord with all my being
{and I try real hard to be an example of that}
but in myself I cannot.
I believe that faith is a wonderful gift that
Christ gives us.
We cannot simply choose or not choose Him.
He first chooses us and to that choosing we must respond.
I hope that the Lord will use me
however He sees fit to reach
the World in a tangible way
to touch hearts of those around me
and encourage people as we come to meet, acquaint,
 or even hardly know one another :)

I enjoy:
Loving on my little family
Loving on my friends
Studying the Word
Singing
Dancing
Crafting
and
{just being}

I have a passion for pregnancy and birth
and everything that surrounds it.
My heart is in being available for families during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum as a system of
support and education.

If I don't have to leave the house I don't.
And chances are I don't leave my jammies
or do my hair
either.

I'm kind of awkward.
{can't lie about that one}
I'm not a good talker
but I'm a really good listener.

I don't watch TV often but American Idol and SYTYCD
are my guilty TV pleasure
{we actually don't have cable}
{so I'm a bum and mooch on our parent's DVR}
[guilty]

I hope that you enjoy learning about my family.
I think they're pretty wonderful!

{Eden}
~~Our Little Chunk of Paradise~~

Eden
{our first daughter}
entered our life on January 12, 2010.
She has been a strong willed little lady from the beginning!
She was two weeks overdue
and took two days to come once she decided it was time.
She had pneumonia as soon as she was born
and was on IV antibiotics for the first
week of her life.
But a fighter she was indeed.
Looking at her now you wouldn't even guess.

She likes to
talk
sing
dance
and be the center of attention
true to first child form!

She is so amazingly loving and has no fear of strangers
{which of course makes me terrified of them!}

I wouldn't trade her for the world!
She is a beautiful blessing
and
an incredible contribution to our wild and crazy life!

{Daphne}
~~Our Beautiful and Deeply Missed Angel~~

Daphne
{our second daughter}
was silently born on February 29, 2012
She fought hard through weeks and weeks of a difficult pregnancy
and went to be with Jesus when we were 34 weeks along.

This part of our life can seem like a terrible nightmare
But we have hope knowing that she is safe in the the
arms of our Lord.

As you can see her toes were pretty fantastically perfect.
As was everything about her.
We are blessed by everything that she has added to our life
and cannot wait to be with her in Heaven.

{Dance with Jesus, sweet Daphne}

{Lydia}
~~Our Snuggly Cuddler~~

Lydia
{our THIRD daughter}
made her arrival 4 days early on October 1, 2013.
After a pregnancy riddled with worry and anxiety after a late term still birth,
she was my first totally uncomplicated

pregnancy and delivery
and she wooed us from the moment she was born.

She is a feisty girl that knows what she likes
{aaannndd what she doesn't like}.

We're quite excited to see her grow into
the young lady that Lord has planned for her to be.
